A German publication recognises the unique contribution the safari camp has made to the tourism sector by highlighting its exceptional appeal to clients.
The travel guide: ‘REISEN IN ZAMBIA’ which means ‘TRAVELLING IN ZAMBIA’ published by Ilona Hupe Verlag has this to say:

“What a great opportunity to reside with a recognised lion expert and author of several books on lions and the African wilderness! Chris and Charlotte McBride are running their tranquil camp in the middle of Kafue National Park, and have been living there for many years. These two individualists are charming and exceptionally invigorating hosts, and like to share their knowledgeable love of nature with their visitors. Boat tours or walking safaris with Chris McBride have a distinctive and very personal touch. Instead of a luxurious Hemingway cliché, the camp fittingly offers seven comfortable reed grass chalets and a campground for the self-sufficient.

Our opinion: Highly recommendable for nature lovers and amateur ornithologists, as the birdlife is fantastic!”
